The crews of the Hyundai Racing Trophy are chasing better ranking from last year

Under the 48th rally Bulgaria, the competitors of the Hyundai Racing Trophy will hold their second round of their single brand car championship. The goal for the drivers and their codrivers – Simeon Simeonov / Yordan Yordanov, Martin Koev / Dimo Bozukov, Denis Stanchovski / Mladen Karchev and Victoria Garkova / Velislava Pavlova is to finish the two-day race and to achieve a higher ranking compared to last year's race.

With their improved cars and serious training with Motorsport Academy coaches, the crews will prove what they have learned so far and will compete for the first place. The crews have serious demands for victory and have the ambition for good places in the general ranking in the RC5 class. Young crews from the Hyundai Racing Trophy will have the opportunity to compete with many foreign drivers as well, with Turkish teams in their class. Following the training sessions conducted since the last race, the drivers from the sports platform are even more confident in their skills and promise to fight the last mile for the first place.

“The evolution of the Hyundai i20 Coupe R this year is the natural step in the development of the championship car, with results coming from the Brasov rally. Racing cars have a better balance than last year, they are faster and are more attractive to fans. They are equipped with Hankook Competition tires and are homologated according to FIA regulations, “commented Stefan Mitov, National Sales Director of Industrial Commerce. “We are glad that we will take part in this well-known race for a third consecutive year and we expect a good performance of our crews in Varna,” he added.

It is a difficult task for the female crew of the Hyundai Racing Trophy – Victoria Garkova / Velislava Pavlova. They have to finish successfully the rally on Sunday and to defeat the competition of: Burcu Cetinkaya with the codriver Emire Canturk with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, Diana Stoyanova with the codriver Ivana Ivanova with Citroen Saxo. It is commendable that this year, the ranking of the Hyundai Racing Trophy is also considered the national championship.
